We could all be one job loss, death, or sickness away from needing help ourselves.

Who We Are
How We Started
In 2011, an idea to feed a few of those in need evolved into a mission to reach out to those affected by sickness, death, job loss, divorce, and other extenuating circumstances. In November of 2018, we became an official non profit organization. We chose the name In My Neighbor's Shoes because we feel as if you never know when a devastating event could affect you and your family.
What We Do
Community Outreach
Thanksgiving Meal
Each year we prepare and deliver Thanksgiving meals and groceries to those in need in our area. In 2019, we were able to distribute 340+ meals in the community.
Groceries/Gas Cards
Throughout the year, we buy groceries for and send gas cards to those who made need a little help. These could be families of those going through medical treatments or a job loss.
Paying Bills
Year round, we anonymously pay utility bills for those in need in the community. We work closely with the local school systems to identify families in need of our assistance.
Clothing Distribution
We purchase clothing or collect donations of nearly new clothing/coats for children and adults in need throughout the year.
PROMplimentary
We accept donations of new and gently used prom attire, shoes, and accessories year round. We then distribute them to local middle and high school students who may not be able to afford prom otherwise.
